Meet Tina Harte Ballinger (Founder/Senior Education Consultant) and Amy Ellisor (Senior Education Consultant), outdoor learning professionals who both started as classroom teachers and later became NASA education specialists. During their work with NASA they developed mission aligned curriculum and provided professional development for both formal and informa educators across the United States. Collectively they bring over 60 years of experience in STREAM+W education (STREAM+W= Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Math, and Writing). Tina and Amy have a true passion for outdoor education, understanding the importance of having learners connect with the world around them giving them the freedom to be curious and creative, while building critical thinking skills through inquiry-guided instruction. By actively engaging in inquiry-based learning fundamentals, learners gain valuable experience in understanding how the world works and making connections for themselves as they learn the skills to become life-long learners.
